The holidays are near...I can smell the figgy pudding in the air. Or maybe that's the smell of rotten pumpkins in the shape of a camper. No matter, as we have two announcements for you freshvintage locals:
Hear Ye, Hear Ye #1
We will be open on Wednesday, November 27. Yes, that's the day before Thanksgiving, when all of you dessert-lovers will be picking up your freshly-baked pies from the Highland Orchards Bakery. We have lots of under $20 gifts for your Thanksgiving host or hostess.
Made-in-the-USA Paddywax mason jar candles in EIGHT delightful scents and two sizes: ($18 for 9.5oz jar and $9 for 3oz jar)
Buy your pie next door, and then deliver it to your host in this 1960s-inspired shopping tote, made with 95% post-consumer recycled material. ($12)
You can't go wrong with a set of vintage glass ornaments. Most of ours are $2.50 each.
OLD BOOKS! We have every possible non-fiction topic: Entertaining, etiquette, magic, golf, sailing, horseback riding, games, crafting, zoology, cocktail recipes...
But, when in doubt, bring a sex-related medical book to your holiday dinner. Nothing says "Thanksgiving" like cozying-up with a hot cup of spiked cider and reading aloud from a book titled, "Seed: A Novel on Birth Control".
Hear Ye, Hear Ye #2
Join us on Small Business Saturday for a Holiday Open House. We'll have wine, beer and holiday treats while you shop for locally-sourced gifts and vintage finds.
November 30, 2013

While you are at our shop, be sure to pick up a Seek & Find postcard, where you'll find several other Antique & Vintage shops in the area. Isn't this a cute idea? It was the brainchild of Tracy from Re-imagined Style. We're making it EASY for you to shop local this holiday season!
