Chris is hitting the road this week, on a selling frenzy across New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. In a very ballsy move, Chris has decided to sell at three antique markets that neither of us have ever visited. I won't be joining him (my pesky "real" job and two kids and all that jazz), so please make him feel welcome by bribing him with beer and offering to let him go to the bathroom while you watch his booth.
These dates & locations are tentative. If certain days get totally rained out, Chris might move along to the next place. We will update our Facebook page with any changes, and his booth # at each location. And feel free to use the contact info on the freshvintage website to get in touch with Chris to confirm his location. Our shop at Highland Orchards will be closed until July 18th.
Aside from the 600 vendors and convenient Hudson Valley location, this market has a Kids' Area with inflatable slides and bounce houses. Happy kids=happy customers.
The first time I ever heard of this Sunday market was on the T-Party Blog in 2007! Susan has written many posts since then about the fun vintage finds she has found at Elephant's Trunk. Chris has never been to Connecticut, so he is looking forward to this scenic spot in New England (he's from Washington State, so cut him some slack).
Tuesday, July 9, 2013 until stuff runs out
Brimfield: Quaker Acres
Opens at Sunrise
20 Palmer Rd
Brimfield, MA 01010
Our new Brooklyn Flea Philly friends, Cindi & Frank, recommended this field at Brimfield (Cindi, of Queenie's Junktiques, was interviewed in this Philadelphia Inquirer article about the Flea). Chris will be set up here for a few days, depending on when he becomes tired of sleeping in a tent.
So, do you live nearby? Any plans to hit these markets?
