Awesome finds! Are you going to be selling the crocks - I kind of want one for my kitchen?!

Also, I linked your blog on my blog (& used a pic), hope that's okay :)

Linda

I love the travel books! reading them would be like time travel... Are you going to read them or sell them?

Colleen

Dear fellow Colleen,
I love your blog so much! It is rare to find someone with a wicked sense of humor AND a love for feed sacks, in my experience anyway. Unrelated: Have you ever been to the gigantic (and I do mean gigantic) antiques fair in Burlington, Ky.? It's awesome. Also, this month, the American Pickers will be there. They're apparently looking for amateur pickers to share the limelight. I plan on making myself conspicuous in a huge green hat. (Or grabbing all the good stuff while the gawkers are distracted.) Attaching a link. :-)

That is a nice haul!!

I ran across your blog today for the first time, I am hooked. You find AMAZING stuff! I am especially interested in the Dundee Marmalade crocks. I have been looking for one for a long time now. My mother has a small one she keeps her kitchen stuff in by her stove. I want one. Wish yard sales in CA were that good. You are a lucky gal.

the calf-eteria bucket would of had a nipple and held a milk sub formula (the smell i still remember after 45 yrs);
we were buying marmalade in the 70's in those crocks - but the labels were the newer ones - absolutely wonderful orange marmalade BTW

Are you selling some of your feed sacks? Would love few. :)
