I know you are all busy getting ready for your fancy New Year's Eve galas and whatnot, so I don't want to take up too much of your time. Here's a quick review of the last few weeks of Christmas fun.
The kids made a gingerbread village that looked nothing like the one on the box:
I went to the annual girls-only holiday party at my neighbor's house on December 23rd. That's where we drink to celebrate being finished our Christmas shopping and gift-wrapping. Or, more likely, we drink because we aren't quite done yet.
I randomly picked this during the gift exchange at said party. Yes, Blitzen will haunt me forever.
I made ice balls with cranberry and mint using this mold that I found at Homegoods for $3 on the clearance shelf...
The ice balls melted...
We had my side of the family to our house for Christmas dinner and we ate Greenberg smoked turkey. It was delicious - I would definitely buy one again. I am no longer afraid of eating mailed meat.
And then a few neighbors came over. We played dice, like every decent, God-fearing family does on Christmas.
The winners were allowed to throw their dollars into the air in celebration.
Winner, winner, smoked turkey dinner!
I hope you all have a fun New Year's Eve and a fabulous New Year!!

Just one question: in those first two pictures are the kids eating the finished house or are they gluing it together with their spit?

I did the mint in the ice cubes once for a baby shower. All the old ladies kept on saying "I have a leaf in my drink sweet heart".
