The tent sale is over!
And it was a blast! And a bit breezy. We couldn't stack things too high, for fear of the wind knocking everything over.
Vintage trim on a chip clip strip:
And my travel brochures...
Lots of goodies to be had!
Here is Erin's gimormous farmhouse cupboard (still for sale at the shop):
I came prepared with mimosas and wine, just in case anyone was thirsty. As it turns out, I really didn't need to bring anything because AMY came to the tent sale.
Amy is in the lead as my favorite freshvintage blog reader. She brought me a bottle of Cupcake Chardonnay! We emailed each other a few months ago, and she had just started a new job for a wine & spirits distributor. Of course, my first question was, "Can you get me a case of Cupcake?" (Jokingly. I didn't want her to lose her new job trying to score a case of white wine for a crazy blogger that she had never met.)
As part of her job, Amy hosts wine & spirit tastings at local liquor stores. Which explains all of the bottles in her car. Or maybe she is an alcoholic with a great cover. I'd like to believe that it is really for her job.
Regardless, we all decided to do a mini shot of a new flavored vodka.
WHIPPED CREAM VODKA!
And it was DELISH! I swear, this is not a paid advertisement for Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka. You need to look at all of the recipes on the Pinnacle Vodka website. Yum. Amy might be coming to my neighborhood yard sale on Saturday, and she'd better have some more in her trunk! (And I am totally kidding that she could possibly be a drunk - she is really nice and normal and fun.)
Here is Amy with Lisa, the owner of Brandywine View Antiques. Running an enormous three-story antiques store definitely requires a shot every now and then. Lisa also gave us our first sale of the day...the big bowl of doll heads! They are sitting pretty in her living room right now. Completely freaking out her dogs.
Did I mention that the time was 9:00am? Yeah. Please don't judge me. I usually like to start my boozing at noon, but I made an exception due to the intense peer pressure.
Here I am with my two neighbors, Vicky & Teresa. My neighbor, Becki stopped by, too. What supportive friends I have! I also met a new blog reader named Emilie, who bought a few of my button & jewelry grab-bags. I was hoping that someone would buy those and use them to make something cool. And guess what? She has a new Etsy shop and makes jewelry. And has a blog. Yay!
And here is Erin with my cousin, Chrissy, and her friend (and mine) Catherine, drinking mimosas. We couldn't help but laugh the whole time they were there.
Catherine told us about the Cow Bingo that was going on that day in her Philadelphia neighborhood. I am too disgusted to elaborate. Just visit that link for more details. Pray tell, did you win any money, Catherine???

Amy is the best fan ever.

Just discovered Cupcake Chardonnay--delish! and so very reasonably (cheapppp) priced. It's my new summer go-to. Tell Amy to bring her act down to Atlanta and we'll do a cupcake chardonnay book signing party.

Hi, so funny you have a vintage travel brochure for Norway! I would love to come to one of your markets in the US, but it's a bit far to travel. I do do find some vintage stuff here too, though.

Thanks for the mention, Colleen! I am so happy that I made it to the tent sale and my mom and I had a great time. I have so many ideas for the bits and baubles I bought from you. Keep an eye out for them in my shop!
