Christmas Wrap-Up
When my husband asked me what I wanted to for Christmas, I sent him the link to Heather Bailey's new fabric at the Fat Quarter Shop and told him to check his email. He didn't even bother to ask me what the hell a fat quarter was, he just placed the order like a good little husband and this appeared under the tree on Christmas morning:
You should check out Heather's blog if you haven't already. She takes beautiful pictures and has some great tutorials and free patterns.
I went to Target today for after-Christmas sales. I was hoping that everything would be 75% off, but I settled for 50%. I don't think these lighted glitter houses would have lasted until the 75% sale, so I picked them up today for $7.50 each.
Before I packed up the Christmas decorations, I snapped a picture of some of my vintage finds on my front porch. I found the 14-inch-high green & red potato chip tin at an antique store in Hammonton, NJ for three dollars. I bought the little green wagon at an outdoor antiques market for seven dollars. The wagon stays on my porch all year long with a flower pot or plant in it.
